Local Attractions

There's a fantastic variety of things to do in Orlando, they say you will need approximately three months to see and do them all!  We have listed just a few of the most popular visitor attractions below and well, you'll just want to come back for more.

Rides & Rockets

Whether your a white knuckle adrenaline seeker or simply want your picture taken alongside Mickey Mouse, then Florida's famous theme parks and the magical Disney attractions are all close by.  Orlando has the cream of the crop Walt Disney World, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure the Marine magic of Sea World, and the watery thrills of all the water parks like Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and Aquatica at SeaWorld are unmissable.  An easy drive from our villa will have you walking amongst space history at the excellent Kennedy Space Centre.

Shopper's Heaven

Shopping!  So many shopping malls to choose from including The Mall at Millenia, Festival Bay Mall and Florida Mall are just a few to mention of the many large shopping malls where you will find everything from exclusive designer labels to discount fashions.  You will also find a large selection of factory outlet stores selling top brands at unbelievably low prices!

If you need a break from the theme parks, no problem.  A fabulous beach is never far away in Florida.  To the east coast is Cocoa beach, this is the closest approximately 80 miles, which is about 90mins drive.  To the west coast are the gorgeous award winning beaches of Clearwater and St Petersburg with their clean sugar white sand beaches, about a 95min drive. Sarasota too can be an enjoyable place to go for the day.

Golf lovers are spoilt for choice.  The superb Champions Gate golf course is within a 5 minute drive, plus another six championship courses to choose from in the surrounding area.  For the skateboarders there's an excellent Vans Skate Park located in the Festival Bay Mall, skateboards and all safety equipment can be hired quite reasonably here.  Or why not  go and watch a Basketball Match or American Football game for something different.

So, where would you like to dine?  Orlando has an irresistible variety of restaurants to match all budgets and tastes.  If your in a hurry, then think tasty burger or buffet.  Or take your time over a wonderful dinner at one of the many fine restaurants close to the villa.  The quality of food is very good here and reasonably priced, particularly some of the seafood and steak restaurants. But don't forget the villa has a fully equipped kitchen should you just fancy a quiet night in relaxing after a busy day out. Treat yourself, the diet can start after your holiday!!
