Florida
Weather
There are four distinct seasons in
Florida, and it helps to know what weather to expect so you can bring suitable
clothing.
SPRING (MARCH-MAY)
High temperatures in the upper 80's F, with cooler evenings. Plenty of sunshine, but spring showers happen. Swimsuits, shorts and
light clothing for daytime, and trousers and light jumpers for cooler evenings.
SUMMER (JUNE-SEPTEMBER)
Daily 90's F with strong sunshine, average evenings of 70F. Afternoons nearly
always see a thunder storm, although these tend to come and go within 15minutes
and do help to clear the air a little. Try and visit the attractions early
then take a break and return to enjoy extended summer hours and night time
activities especially the night parades. Swimsuits, shorts and light clothing
required.
AUTUMN (OCTOBER-MID DECEMBER)
Ideal weather with high 80's F, lows around 60 F. Plenty of sunshine with
the odd afternoon thunderstorms. Swimwear, light clothing and light jacket for the
evenings.
WINTER (MID DECEMBER-FEBRUARY)
Generally pleasant conditions, December through
to January you can expect 60 to high 70's F average. A mixture of clothing is
required, but its advisable to bring a warm jacket just in case.
